Council Policy on Submissions

to the Juniata Valley Council, BSA for Patches, T-Shirts, etc.

A release must be signed by the person submitting the design (a parent’s signature must accompany a minors submission) releasing the patch to the Juniata Valley Council, BSA. 

The submission is made giving up all rights to the patch and with the understanding that there is no compensation for the design and the Juniata Valley Council may use it in whole or part as deems necessary, which may include an unrelated activity.

All submissions become property of the Juniata Valley Council and the Boy Scouts of America.

Submissions must be from registered Scouts or adult volunteers, unless otherwise indicated.

All entries must be submitted by the deadline indicated.  The Juniata Valley Council is not responsible for designs submitted that may be lost or undelivered either by an individual, US Postal Service or electronically.

Entries must fit within the shape provided/requested

Designs must contain the letters “BSA” or have the Flur-di-lis contained in the design. 

The Juniata Valley Council, BSA reserves the right to alter the design, colors or other adjustment it feels necessary.

 This policy is subject to review and adjustment as needed.
